Leaving debt

Hi all I'm thinking of jetting off for a few years and leaving (or paying from another country) some debts behind, but I'm living with my mum at the moment and I'm worried if I do she or her home might get blacked if I do any advice. The only other soulation is leave my bank account open and send money over from oz every week and pay the bills monthly which I don't really want to do as there are enough sponges in this county who take the p..s and get looked after all there life and I only owe a few grand.
Cheers

Leaving Debt

Whilst the correct legal ownership of the debt is you, creditors will undoubtedly continue to pursue youat your mother's address. There will be no legal recourse from the creditors against your mother, but any undealt with correspondence/debt collection activities may ultimately result in court proceedings that will be registered against her property.
