Please could somebody give me some advice! I owe money to link financial and have tried to reach an agreement with them. They would not enter into an agreement as they had applied for a charging order on the property i live in - although the property is not owned by myself but by my parents. I did apply to the land registry office to let them know that the property is not owned by me - and they said that they would discuss with myself and link the situation and try to come to an agreement. I have now received a letter stating that the order has been granted as no application was made to contest it. What can i do now? are they able to secure a debt on an assett that is not mine? I would be grateful of any advice.
