Hello

I wanted to know if there was anyone else out there who has brought & lived in a private ground floor flat that has a Council or Housing Trust property directly above theirs & there is totally inadequate insulation between the floors of the two properties which has caused the person in the private dwelling considerable stress, tension, annoyance & upset?

I am trying to get my local authority to face up to their responsibility & have a duty of care regarding sound insulating their property.

I am sure there must be someone else out there who has experienced this same problem as I am having?
If so I would be grateful if yopu would get intouch to offer any help or advcie or generally let me know about your situation?

Did it get resolved, is it still ongoing?
Any answers to what my position is & the Law is etc?
