Bit of warning for everyone here
Be careful when you set up direct debit with your bank - check and double check the account details you give. I just been stung with fees that came from the wrong account number being recorded! I'm sure i gave them the right details but they set it up from old account details they already had for me and hit me with penality fees when it declined. see my post in debt advice > credit card.

That is a scary situation. I think we should go over our information all the time to make sure it is all corect. Anything can happen. And we should try and catch any mistakes when we can.

i recently set up a direct debit for my bank account and the company tried to take the money out to early which made me occur a £70 charge because they tried twice the good thing is i complained to the company in question and got my £70 back but that is a warning to all of you out there
