I started my new job a round 3 months ago which I really enjoy, the only problem was that my previous company took quite a while to send me my P45 form. So because of this, I had to go on emergency tax, meaning that I was paying the highest amount tax which was eating out my pay big time.

A friend at mine from work was telling me how I can get the tax that I was paying through something called a tax rebate. My question is...

how long do you normally have to wait for a tax rebate?
