Cash Machines and Identity Theft

Hi there, Recently, there have been numerous reports about cash machines scams including an infamous scam called the Lebanese loop. As these scams are pretty hard to see, are there any signs I should look out for or is there anyway I can tell if a cash machine has been tampered with? I have also noticed that on a few cash machines, the card slot looks as if paper has been torn off the front, is this a cause for concern? Thanks Thomas

More and more banks are helping customers with this problem, it is unfortunate that some people are doing this to people who have worked hard to earn their money. Hello Thomas

Unfortunately i know a few people that have been affected by this and it's not always easy to see the signs. I would recommend going into your local bank and speaking to the branch manager they may have some leaflets or information to give out about how to avoid this.
