Bank Advice

I am on a debt management programme. I would like to open a new bank account but feel I have been "black listed"...can anyone recommend a bank that would have me as a customer?

Hello

There are a number of bank accounts you should be able to open without a problem as long as they are basic accounts. Here are a few
Abbey National Instant Plus
Alliance & Leicester Basic Bank Account
Bank of Scotland Easy Cash
Barclays Cash Card Account
Clydesdale Cashmaster
Co-Op Cashminder
Halifax Cardcash
Lloyds TSB Bank Account
HSBC Basic Bank Account
Natwest Step Account
RBS Key Account
Woolwich Open Plan
Yorkshire Bank Readycash
The reason that these accounts should be ok is because there are no credit facilities linked with this account therefore there is no need to run a credit search.
