Non UK citizens

I saw a post about combining overseas debt and was wondering about if you are not a UK citizen and have overseas debt. My cousin lives in the UK and left an awful lot of debt behind in Spain when she left. She doesn't have UK debt, it is all back home. I\m guessing the only option she has is to go back home to settle it?

Hello Dragonfly, If your cousin is a uk resident with a visa to work and live in the uk we would be able to look into a solution to her debt. Given that Spain is part of the EU we would be able to help arrange something to help resolve the situation although we cant guarantee what the solution would be. Give DAT a call and speak to one of the advisors there for any further advice
