IVA - time period

I've got an awful lot of pressure on from my creditors and I was just wondering if there was a time estimate as to how long it takes for an IVA to be approved? Would I be looking at a couple of months or longer? I know it's quite quick to set up a debt management plan and really want to start this asap..

Assuming you have all the necessary paperwork to hand an IVA proposal can be drafted and sent out to you to sign within 2-3 weeks.
Once signed and returned by you it will then be sent to your creditors who have 21 days to acknowledge they have received it and to vote.
How long does it take?
Your time period for an IVA would hopefully be short. I wondered if any are refused? Since the amount of people for an IVA are growing in number. The amount of people that are in debt and need the help of an IVA fast. Knowing what to expect would be a saving grace.
