if my IVA fails what will happen

If my IVA fails can i go back to a dmp instead of going bankrupt?

My IVA is due to fail shortly.

My IVA is due to fail shorlty, im concerned about payday loans and on other small loan that i've taken out which dont requires credit checks just extortionate APR's. I dont not want to go bankrupt, i want to pay my debts some how, some way and doesnt matter how long i just want to pay for my faults. Im currentlly with Payplan, im not sure whether to continue with them under debt managment plan as they are funded by my creditors. Not sure at all whether they have my best interests at heart or not as only found out they were funded by them recentlly. I believe the IVA was always to much for me but i believed it to be the better option as turned down many debt managmement plans prior to that. Mainly because of watchdog and knowing money was'nt going where it should. Ideally i'd like to make informal arrangements with my creditors so i know what money i do have is fully going where it should. The other optionwould be going with you guys if that is an option? I fear bankruptcy more for my career asperations and ambitions, im currentlly looking for new jobs that do pay more which will enable me to give more. Apologies for the rabble, look forward to your comments/advise. Adrian

Hi Adrian

You can always come to ourselves, as after going through all of your details with you, we would find the best option for you and guide down that particular route. Failing an IVA, doesn’t stop you from other solutions, especially debt management plans, as it is always best to pay back what you can afford.

my IVA is due to fail shortly

Hi Adrian, i am with payplan and i am of the opinion as you that they dont seen to have my best interests at heart because they are funded by my creditors,so i am really considering changing to national debt line,we have already applied for an IVA with them and just waiting to to see if it will be accepted,if it is not we will get a dmp started with them , i hope someone comes along and answers you question ,i just wanted to share my thoughts with you too...

Hello tickertyboo

Yes, you can enter into a debt management plan if your IVA fails. Along as you can afford the debt management plan then this will be fine. If you’re IVA does fail. And you are looking at the option of a payment plan, then give us a call as we can have a look into this option for you. Hope this helps
