combining overseas debt

If you have debt from the UK and abroad, is it possible to combine them in an IVA? My partner has debts from his home country. If we combine them all together, I think we could be suitable for an IVA.

Debt from abroad

Hello Chains, In answer to your query It may be possible to combine the debt in an IVA as long as you are both permanent residents in the UK. Give the DAT a call and they will be able to assist you and advised whether an IVA is the best route depending on your situation.
