Past debt being claimed

A debt from 4 years ago is being claimed. Yet the company who the debt was owed to never in that time asked for any payments. In fact requests for payments ceased 4 years ago. Can they now come back and request payment.

Hello Dawill

Unfortunatly, they can claim this debt even though it is over 4 years ago. You will have to make an arrangement with them to pay an amount you can afford. Hope this helps.
