Balifs

Hi i have a car which is on finance i forgot to pay a car fine which has now built up the baliffs won't accept an offer i can't afford to pay the full amount are they able to remove the car even though it's on finance

Hello Sarahjj

They aren’t able to take the car from you, as the car doesn’t belong to you. The car is owned by the finance company not by you. The bailiffs can only take goods that do belong to you, if they do come to take the car, produce the documents to them.
