Debt mangement advice pls!
Help i need advice
My boyfriend and I have been struggling with our finances (all our finances are separate) and have been encouraging each other to save, cutting back our expenses together. I thought it was working well and we both were starting to see the differences when he told me yesterday he's decided to sign up to a debt management company.
I'm trying to discourage him as they are charging him £250 a month to manage his debt - but surely that money would be better off going directly toward his debt?
I think it's a ridiculous idea to sign up to this but he is convinced it's the way to go. What are the advantages of a debt management plan? should I discourage him from this? It seems like such a waste of money that could be going toward the £7,000 he owes.

They will be able to provide free advice and recommend a solution that best suits your needs. If it is a debt management plan they will only only recommend well established debt management companies whose main objective is to help you get out of debt in the best way possible.
