Made Bankrupt

Just to say, Your advice was very helpful. I was declared Bankrupt on 15 April and I must say it wasn't as daunting as I had imagined, in fact most of the court staff were very sympathetic. I would just like to ask.......after admitting my incomings and outgoings, the official receiver has given me a monthly amount to re-pay over a period of three years. I feel it is a little high, considering I am on benefits, do I have any right to appeal over this amount.

Hello brian

You will need to go and speak to your Official Receiver, explained to him or her that you feel the monthly amount you are supposed to pay is to high for you and ask him or her to go through your income and expenditure again. Hope this helps Brian.
