I am am independent mortgage adviser and due to the credit crunch my income is now a quarter of what it was in previous years. I have really struggled the past 6 months and had to subsidise my income with drawing money on credit cards. This has escalated my outgoings and feel i am getting in a worse situation, but cannot meet my mortgage and bills any other way. If i was to declare bankcruptcy would that prevent me from being a mortgage adviser in the future, or even working in a bank?
