When I was in the British Army I applied for a 3000 pound loan from RBS and a 2000 Pound loan from Black Horse Finance , when I left the Army i didnt have a job so I spoke to a debt consolidation company and they told me to close my RBS bank account, and pay them a small fee and slowly pay all my debt off which I did. RSB kept on charging me because there was no money in my account.I left it because I thought the debt agency is sorting it out ! 10 months down the line it went from 3000 pounds to 5000 pounds in charges! After I switched agencies they closed my account , but I own the RBS over 5000 pounds which 2000 +- is charges ! I’m in South Africa at the moment on contract work and I haven’t paid any of my debt for a year , I’m moving back to the UK next year Feb and I want to sort my debt out for good ! Can I only pay back what I borrowed , and what can happen to me because I dint pay for a year ?
