I want to pay off by debts in full

Hello, I've got a debt with 3 credit cards and also an overdraft on my personal account totalling about £13000. I've been abroad for the last six months and have not made any payments during this period. I know my creditors have tried to contact me but I have been too scared to get back to them. Now I'm able to pay off my debts to the last penny but I'm not sure how I should go about. All my accounts have beenblocked and I'm unable to use my online banking facility. Should I just send the money to my bankaccount and then pay my credit cards?or should I get in touch with my creditors beofre doing this? Help is very much appreciated. Thanks

Hello Gandalfred

You dont have to nessasary call the creditors, but you can if you want to explain why you havent paid. If you have no access to any account, open a basic account where you have no debt, and send letters to (or call) your creditors with your new account details and offer a payment. If you do have a current account, then re activate it and set up a standing order to pay the debts of that way Alternatively you can give us a call at the Debt Advice Trust on 0800 954 6518. We can go through your details with you and find a solution that is affordable to yourself. Hope this Helps
