As a person who has struggled with both addiction and debt, I would strongly encourage you to handle your addiction first as these things tend to recur and cause us to wind up in the same dark places over and over again. It wasn't until I became sober last year that I was finally able to deal with my staggering debt and enroll in a debt management program. Notwithstanding, I know that had I not dealt with my addiction first, my troubles with debt would have only changed in appearance but will still have been controlling my life. Good luck to you!
