Credit card and store card help.

I have amassed a £12k credit cards, store cards and catalogue debts. I have a good job which pays very well, but i am now finding it hard to keep up my debt repayments. I got myself into this mess due to my overspending on my new flat and I used my new credit cards to pay for some of the goods i wanted. Before you know it, I was in trouble. Some of the items I bought were sofas, televisions and other bits and pieces that could turn my empty flat into a welcoming home.

Because my debts are becoming harder and harder to pay off:

How badly will this affect my credit rating? (is there a chance of being black-listed)

Can the credit card companies they take me to court if I am unable to pay back my credit card bills?

Finally, what do you forum member recommend I do to help me repay back my debts?

I hope someone out there can advise me. This is quite a scary time for me, as I ahave not really been in this much trouble before

Thanks again

Jacob
