charity shops

i know some people think i would never buy any thing from a charity shop but when you are living on a budget they can be a godsend i never buy new books only ones from charity shops or car boots and if you have kids they are great for kids clothes and toys

These shops are a great way to save

These shops are a great way for you to save on all your childrens clothes and more. Children grow out of their clothes so fast. Why spend a lot of money on buying them clothes that they only wear a short time.

Definitely!

I love charity shops, there's always a bargain to be had and everything in there is always cleaned and ironed. The other day i saw a Ralph Lauren top for 2 pounds.... think how much i saved not going to the real shop...

Cleaned and ironed... funny that!

Funny you should mention cleaned and ironed Elle. Back in my student days when I had a huge overdraft and debts you can't imagine, there was a nice trick you can try with charity shops.

To get your clothes professionally dry-cleaned, ironed and freshened up, leave it with your local charity shop, then you can buy it back from a fraction of the price of what you would usually pay for dry cleaning. - Just be there when they release the new stock!
