When redecorating you don't have to spend a fortune. Sometimes it's just the cost of a can of paint that will make a huge difference! Another inexpensive way to make a difference is moulding. Even plain white moulding along the wall and ceiling will make an impression. It gives the room a finished look and adds a little oomph, especially if you paint the moulding a bright vibrant color.

Try moving your furniture around. Or adding new wall decorations. Putting up new curtains can make your room look great. And give you the much needed change you want with out the high cost.

believe it or not but my local pound shop sells paint and wall paper sometimes and if they do i but it in bulk so that i know i have got some paint when i want the price of paints in the diy shops is extortionate and i refuse to pay that much also save up your left over paints mix them up and see what colour you end up with sometimes you can get a really nice and unusual colour

This sounds like an interesting idea. Although I have tried this on one or two occasions, but I usually have a muddy, icky kind of color. But, who knows someday I might come up with something new and vibrant that will wow all my friends and neighbors.
Redecorating on a budget
Great tips on redecorating here, thought i might add to the paint discussion. If you wanted to spruce up a white room, paint one 'signature wall' a colour leaving the rest of the room white. It looks really cool and you can buy little tester pots of paint for usually a pound or so, you'd be surprised how far two of those little fellas will go!
You will end up with a new look room AND more money! Bonus!
