There really are ways to solve your debt problems, however serious they may seem to be at the moment. What matters is finding honest and impartial advice. Otherwise you may end up doing something based on a debt advice company's own targets, or starting a debt solution based purely on what your banker or lenders want.
The Debt Advice Trust does not depend on funding from lenders or bankers which means we are free to give you advice based on your own circumstances. We will ask you in strict confidence what you owe, how much you earn each month and how much you need to live on. After that we can quickly tell you what choices you have. It may be that an IVA (Individual Voluntary Arrangement) best suits your individual situation. Equally, debt management or another debt solution might be better. Our trained Counsellors will make sure you have all of the facts before you decide.

Because we don't have 'quotas' to fill for different debt solutions, we never try and push an unsuitable solution onto you. Our goal is to ensure you get the right advice. So if we think your debts are serious enough for an IVA, we'll tell you so. If another solution makes more sense then we'll tell you that too. The decision is always yours and you will always know what your choices are.

A: You will be able to speak directly to one of our Counsellors. You can call us anytime between the hours 8:00 am and 9:00 pm Monday to Friday, or 9:00 am and 5:00 pm on Saturday and 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on Sunday.
