To find out about ways to break free of debt from a more specialised source than the Citizens Advice Bureau, UK residents can contact the Debt Advice Trust free of charge. Like the Citizen Advice Bureau we can recommend a course of action, devised by our knowledgeable staff.

Following the latest Government debt advice, we work hard to ensure that the course of action suggested to you by our team is the very best for your situation, making the DAT a sensible option for citizens advice on debt. Our debt advice is based on the information you give us, allowing our experienced, friendly staff to come up with suggestions that will meet your requirements. As with the Citizens Advice Bureau, UK residents will not be charged for the services offered.

Our free citizens advice service will deal with both the positive and negative aspects of all options open to you for clearing debt. Like those who go to the Citizens Advice Bureau, UK residents using our service can expect complete confidentiality. Neither the DAT nor the Citizen Advice Bureau will divulge the information you give us to your creditors.
