About The Debt Advice Trust

The Debt Advice Trust was founded to help people in serious debt with good, honest and impartial advice. We have giving free advice on debt problems for three years and more than 100 people call us every day.

We don't depend on funding from lenders or banks. That is important, because it means we will never recommend a debt solution that isn't fair to everyone. Our debt advice to you is free and it is always based on what will be best in your own, individual circumstances.

A clear purpose lies behind everything we do. We want you to get the financial advice you need. That means listening to you and learning about your individual situation. The Debt Advice Trust exists to help you get your finances back on track in the most appropriate, least drastic way.

When you call one of our trained Counsellors, they will talk to you in strict confidence about your current financial position. Based on what you tell them, they will then explain all of your choices and recommend the debt solution that is most likely to make you debt free.
